Forest Song by savagedryad Forest Song by savagedryad
Freehand sculpted bronze clay and lab created green sapphire. Its about a 20mm sapphire so this is a rather decent sized necklace. Yes I will admit that this was inspired in no small part by the little icons you see in world of Warcraft for Night Elven jewelry items. (hence the name) So I guess I leveled up my jewelcrafting today right?

Bronze clay is a nifty material that molds like clay and after a firing turns into bronze. Lab created sapphire is still 100% real gemstone chemically speaking. The environment they are grown in is simply man made. It would have to be the real thing to survive the bronze firing.

Do you look foward to sell this piece at your site after the festival?

If it isn't snapped up at the festival yes it will get listed. Things are just getting down to the wire here and I need to have enough stock to fill up my 10x10. The good news is even if it goes I will make another similar just because I really enjoy working with this medium!

Is that futurely, I'd like to apply this piece to one of my drawings, I would not just be using a beautiful design in them, I'd also be sponsoring your work for free. XD

This is gorgeous, very well-crafted and something quite "Night Elvish"!

Im still deciding on the exact price. Since it's part of my festival stock it will get priced when I tag everything else. I've been told It should be around 180 or so.
